The artist behind Genesis
From southern Brazil.
To the world stage.
Genesis Wrap Studio brings a Brazilian artist’s eye, a competitor’s discipline and an instructor’s attention to detail to automotive customization in Las Vegas. Behind the name is Calebe San Martins: a craftsman whose career connects a small screen-printing business in Rio Grande to national championships, international competitions and the SEMA Show.

The beginning / Rio Grande, Brazil
Learning the craft from the ground up
Calebe’s first professional contact with visual communication came at 18, working in a screen-printing shop. Within weeks, he had the opportunity to buy the business. Ownership arrived early, along with the responsibility of learning the materials, understanding customers and turning an idea into something tangible.
Automotive wrapping became the next chapter. Working with vinyl gave him a new medium: a surface that could follow a vehicle’s curves, change its character and turn design into a three-dimensional experience. He invested in learning the trade, and Genesis grew from that combination of practical experience, entrepreneurship and a fascination with vehicle transformation.
A personal turning point / 2011–2014
Rebuilding, then stepping into competition
A serious motorcycle accident in 2011 led to a long recovery. In 2013, meeting Brazilian wrapper Dimas Brasil opened the door to competitive wrapping. By March 2014, Calebe and his cousin Rodrigo had reached the final of their first national competition and finished third. This chapter, recounted in Fullpower’s profile, puts the later trophies in perspective: the competitive career began during a period of rebuilding.
Brazilian championships
Speed, precision and a place among the finalists
Calebe became a three-time Brazilian CAMBEA Fast champion and reached five CAMBEA Pro finals. The two disciplines test different strengths: Fast challenges an installer’s speed on a hood; Pro demands the control and finishing quality of a larger vehicle installation.
A major team victory followed in September 2018. Representing Genesis Envelopamento, Calebe and Rodrigo de Paula San Martins won the CAMBEA Pro South regional stage at Reparasul in Novo Hamburgo. Twelve teams entered the Pro category. After the qualifying rounds, the finalists faced a five-hour full-car wrap. Their win earned Genesis a place in the next national CAMBEA championship.
That result matters beyond the podium. The event’s published judging criteria emphasized graphic positioning, cleanliness, technique and finishing. Those are the same details a vehicle owner notices in the finished work: how the design meets a panel, how an edge is resolved and how consistently the whole vehicle comes together.

Beyond Brazil / Munich, 2019
Taking Brazilian craftsmanship abroad
In 2019, Calebe represented Brazil at the World Wrap Masters in Munich, Germany, after a Brazilian runner-up result. FESPA’s event report names him in the Brazilian contingent alongside the national champions. The competition brought together installers from multiple countries and challenged them on vehicles and other complex surfaces.
Competing internationally broadened the setting for his work: different materials, different approaches and the demands of an unfamiliar arena. World Wrap Masters became part of a career that would continue through overseas events, technical exchanges and collaboration with other installers.
Instructor, judge & industry contributor
Passing the knowledge on
Calebe’s professional work also includes teaching and judging. His published instructor profile dates his courses to 2016 and describes training delivered across Brazil, Europe and Latin America. His online education covers both installation and the business of running a wrap shop, from material selection and finishing to customer checklists and pricing.
Alltak lists him in its Pro Expert installer program. His own technical writing provides another view of his work: he stresses that a clean-looking car still needs proper preparation before vinyl or PPF is installed. Inspection, contamination removal and an appropriate application process are part of the foundation, not simply the finishing touches.
For Genesis customers, that is a useful way to understand the studio’s approach. The visible transformation is the result you come for. The decisions made before installation—about the surface, the material and the execution—help determine the quality of that result.

A new home / Las Vegas
Building a life around the craft
Calebe first visited the SEMA Show in 2022 and, according to Fullpower, took second place in an Orafol speed-wrapping competition on that trip. In 2024, he moved to Las Vegas with his wife Francine and their children. The city also became home to the Wrap House idea: a place for visiting Brazilian wrap professionals to meet, exchange knowledge and build connections around SEMA.

Long Beach / 2025
An international team. A runner-up finish.
At the 2025 WRAPSCON Wrap Olympics in Long Beach, California, Calebe joined Damian Ruben Cordero of Cordero Plotter SA as Team TCHE WRAP. They finished second in a competition involving 50 two-person teams.
The event tested far more than speed. Judging covered application quality, cleanliness, tool safety, teamwork and planning. Loose edges, overstretched film, debris and uneven cuts could all count against a team. The result added an international podium to a career built on individual skill and collaboration.
Art on wheels / SEMA Show 2025
The Ayrton Senna tribute Lamborghini
One of Calebe’s most distinctive collaborations brought together three Brazilian installers: Calebe, Eduardo Chardosim Stabel and Erci Junior. Their Lamborghini Huracán project paid tribute to Ayrton Senna, combining automotive culture with an expressive, layered vinyl design.
Industry coverage of Alltak’s SEMA Show 2025 presence documents the collaboration, the use of Alltak materials and the addition of successive vinyl layers. Fullpower describes the freehand work and the seven-episode Wrapped 7 Days series that followed its creation. The project was exhibited at SEMA, taking the artists’ collaborative work to an international automotive audience.
Calebe also appears on the official WrapsLIVE schedule for SEMA 2025. From competition floors to live industry events, his career continues to connect installation, education and artistic experimentation.
